You have to get the kids ready for school, pack their lunches, and then get yourself ready for work. Mason jar meals are a perfect solution to making breakfast in a pinch. This easy Mini Quiche Mason Jar recipe is sure to satisfy your kids and give them a healthy meal before they head off to school.
Mini Quiche Recipe
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 6 eggs
- 8 oz. shredded cheese
- 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
- 1 c. milk
- 6 green onions, sliced finely
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. melted butter
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. While your oven is heating up you can start prepping the food. Measure out the ingredients as listed above if you have not done so. In a large bowl take all of the ingredients and start to mix them together. This recipe fills 12 8 oz. mason jars. Make sure to grease all the mason jars prior to pouring in the mix. Place the jars on a cookie sheet in the oven to give them an even surface to rest on. Let them bake for 25-28 minutes or until they are done to your liking. You can either eat these immediately or refrigerated/freeze them for future breakfasts.
